a pottery paradise

Hi everyone,

Hope you are all well .

 Today i thought i would share a treasure with you .the place im about to tell you about is my most favorite place to visit .it is a lovely place nestled in the pilliga forest out near coonabarrabran .it is a property called barkala and it is home to the most wonderful pottery gallery and coffee shop .



the pottery here is absolutely beautiful . my favorite being the blue wrens .



The other thing i love is the fact that you can watch the artist at work and she is only to happy to answer any questions and have a chin wag .Here she is doing the design and it is all done freehand .incredible ,and very relaxing to watch .



was amazing to see this vase transform from just a blob of clay and a lot of skill .


the other thing i love about this place is the wonderful cafe .they make the best woodfire pizzas on the planet  (well my planet lol ) .and they use the pottery they make to serve everything on ,and i swear it all tastes so much better because of that fact .


now i have shown you just how wonderful this place is , do yourself a favor and visit one day ,you wont be disappointed i promise .the other thing they have is wonderful places to stay in but i will leave it to you to find that treasure . hope you have enjoyed seeing my favorite place to visit .
