It's raining

It's raining ,woohoo . The kind of heavy, puddle forming, ground soaking rain we've been needing
and I am loving it .It's a perfect day to lounge around in my spotted dressing gown and snuggle up with a good novel ,after I have put on a lamb curry in the slow cooker for dinner .I know a lot of you love the sunshine and heat ,but the heat we have had, has totally drained me ,so I am finding the rain so totally refreshing ,and I am not the only one ,everything looks fresher ,the grass and trees greener ,the garden looks to have flourished over nite as well .

Bella is enjoying the cool weather also ,on the really hot days we had you could find her curled up in the only room we have the air conditioning on ,so today she is enjoying lazing with me on the couch .
  I hope you are all enjoying a wonderful day like me ,whatever the weather .I'm off to find that novel ,and to put dinner in the slow cooker ,then to snuggle up with Bella .
